red light special

Sensual, Sultry, Seductive, Sexy comes to mind when I correlate the color red to  clothing. Depending on the situation, Red symbolizes:
romance
lust
love
desire
passion
Obvious, right? Especially when one of the hugest pagan holidays comps on the color red,
Valentine's Day
Yes, the color Red has a strong presence in our daily lives. Red tones in clothing, is also seen as a power color, more on the aggressive side, strong and confident. When worn, Red can signify whatever it is your trying to portray like:

power

romance

rage

confidence

elegance

Red, a primary color and at the top of the color spectrum, can be so engaging and in some ways repelling/ intimidating. You can either send the wrong message or get your point across.
Growing up, the color Red was mostly considered a hue for the more mature crowd. Grown women would wear Red, whether it be the nail polish, lipstick, a pair of red pumps, or undergarments.. Red was not for the weak or timid
no child or adolesent (although wished they could) could wear or even dream of the possibilities of wearing Red, without the sly and fast remarks of an older woman questioning your motives, age, and knowledge.
did anybody else grow up like that?

Times have changed now, clearly... Red is no longer reserved for the Grown & Sexy, now more so that vibrant color has become a staple in our everyday wardrobe whether your 2 y.o. or 110,
dressing down or dressing up
making a statement or trying to make a baby
Red symbolizes life.... fire and blood
a driving force to be wreckoned with
so
be powerful
be the drive
embrace your femininity
&
your sexy
