..okay so after taking a good look at each outfit and analyzing them secretly in your head.. yup i know 20% of you guys were like

25% of you guys were like
"oooh this is super cute i would wear that but they probably don't make it in my size"
30% of you..
"where am i going dressed like that though?"
..and then the remainder of you all were like

where my goal is to boost your self confidence, get you out of your comfort zone
aaaannnnd occasionally, maybe say something outta pocket...who knows
so lets get to it
the reason for the three amazingly styled style boards is to show a variation of styles with at least one common element.
what is that you say...
color comfortability
the common denominator within the three style boards is the color
BLACK
what i find as a Stylist is that most people turn down a lot of outfit ideas or suggestions or even attempting to change their look due to serious fear of stepping out of the box ... that comfort zone of connecting with a certain color palette becomes embedded subliminally within us so it makes it so easy to shy away from "different'.
for most of us (don't deny ladies) we love the color black ..its a safe color to go to for anything from casual, business professional, formal etc... its just easy, right?
chances are almost everyone answered yes.
well I'm here to tell you that its ok ... it ..is ...ok
black is an amazing color and can and should be used in most outfits.. now because "black" is such a common color used in damn near everything known to man... it is also an amazing color to pair with pretty much any other color/ pattern!!! isn't that amazing news and a comfort to know that you cant go g\wrong with black!
your window of knowledge is opening up..lets get cracked open some..
here's a start, start looking at different patterns and color combos on clothing differently. so, instead of seeing just overwhelming colors, pinpoint the main color then gradually work up from there. by using that as a focal point, you will begin to not feel so overwhelmed due to relatability. trying new things can be weird I know, but, that should be the adventure in it.
when it comes to fashion and style never let a color, pattern, fabric, or designer intimidate you, fashion was made not for ill-imaginative honey.
